Sioux Falls On Course for Record-Setting Snow in 2018

Sioux Falls, SD is getting mighty close to it’s all-time record snowfall total for a calendar year.

The city is currently sitting at 62.6 inches of snow since January 1, meaning just average amounts of the white stuff in November and December will see 2018 tied for first with 78.2 inches set in 1983.

With the sun shutting down for its next Grand Solar Minimum, the next two month’s snow totals are more than likely to be above average.

Stay tuned for updates.
