Friday will be an unseasonably cold day in Kansas City with highs of just 2C (35.6F) — 12C below average for the time of year.
Then as night draws in, AccuWeather is forecasting temperatures to plunge to -11C (12.2F) — that’s 14C below normal, and smashes 2000’s record-low of -6C (21.2F).
The windchill will bring the temp down even further, to a bone-chilling -13C (8.6F).
